Additional Show Information
Crystal Group manufactures innovative and proven rugged technologies for reliable computing in volatile environments – where traditional off-the-shelf computer hardware cannot withstand the shock, vibrations, dust, humidity and extreme temperatures typically found in a variety of weather radar observation and remote sensing stations.
Crystal Group solutions serve diverse industries from transportation to aviation, military, marine, oil, gas and energy distribution sectors.
RE1401 NUC
The RE1401 NUC (Next Unit Computing) measures 6.3” x 1.9” x 4.8”, weighs only 2 lbs. and is small enough for placement in size-constrained areas yet rugged enough to withstand the harshest environments including shock and vibration. It is ideal for military and industrial installations requiring compute processing and data collection where size and weight are a consideration. With a rugged all-aluminum compact chassis footprint, the RE1401 NUC is based on Intel’s NUC motherboard form factors 5th or 6th generation i5/i7 workstation.
RE1312 Rugged Embedded Computer
The RE1312 Rugged Embedded Computer is a ruggedized system based on Intel® Core-i7 Gen6 Dual or Quad Core processors. The system can be configured with up to 32GB, non ECC DDR4 of memory. Along with six USB 3.0 ports the compact unit offers two 15mm SSD or three 9mm SSD storage options which are externally removable. The system’s LGA 1151 socket supports HDMI and DVI-I video output options. A tough carbon fiber composite frame serves simultaneously as the entire system’s structural backbone and EMI shield. The unit measures 12” wide, 4.5” tall, and 9” in depth and can be tray or bulkhead mounted with supplied bracket ears.
